Protect the Pets™ - the national movement of veterinary professionals and pet owners promoting high quality veterinary medicine that values pets over profits - has recruited its first group of pioneer member veterinarians.
Thirty two veterinarians from around the United States have joined as Protect the Pets™ members, pledging to practice according to the Protect the Pets™ Code of Conduct - a set of 12 tenets that promise trustworthy, ethical care of pets that values pets over profits. Sample tenets include:

They've affiliated themselves with something they strongly believe in, and I'm honored to be joined by these professionals."
Protect the Pets™ was established in Fall 2006 by Connecticut veterinarian Dr. John Robb to identify and recruit veterinary professionals who value the health of pets over the drive for profits, and to educate the public about the realities of unsafe veterinary medicine.
