Free Has Just Got Better: Math Mechanixs®, a Free Math Program, has Been Enhanced by Adding Numerical Differentiation; Download Your Copy Today

Merrimack, NH (PRWeb) February 14, 2007 -- Math Mechanixs®, a comprehensive, free math software package, has introduced numerical differentiation to its vast list of capabilities. Visit our website to download your own copy.

After compiling an array of mathematical tools, the team at Math Mechanixs decided it was time to add another calculus tool to its ever growing list of features. This addition allows our users to perform some higher level math; making our software even more useful to the advanced high school student, college student, engineer or anyone else interested in more advanced math. In 2006 we added numerical integration; the addition of differentiation compliments the calculus utility.

Not only does Math Mechanixs handle single differentiation, it can also compute double and triple differentials. The user has the ability to easily change the limits of differentiation and determine a result. Once the results are obtained, the user can copy these result into the Math Editor (our unique mathematical workspace/scratch pad) or graph the results with the click of a button.

This additional feature has made Math Mechanixs® more powerful than ever. Even those not interested in calculus will find our free math software to be extremely useful. All those interested in math should try Math Mechanixs. Be sure to explore our function library and we allow the user to get an answer to any function very quickly with our unique function solver.

Any tool is as good as a person's ability to use it. A scalpel in a trained doctor's hand can be powerful, Give that same tool to an untrained person and it is less than useful, it is dangerous. We want our users to become skilled quickly so we have included tutorials. Learning a new piece of software can take some time. Though Math Mechanixs is already very intuitive to use, taking full advantage of the power of the software can take a little time. To help speed up the learning curve, we have integrated tutorials within the software. The tutorials are in .wmv file format (a common audio visual file format that can be viewed with most media players). The tutorial videos demonstrate how to perform different operations within Math Mechanixs. They also have a voiceover to help guide you. There are a number of basic tutorials built into Math Mechanixs and more are available for download at our website. These tutorials compliment our extensive help system and example files.

About Math Mechanixs LLC:
Math Mechanixs LLC is the provider of Math Mechanixs®, an easy to use general purpose math software program. Math Mechanixs has done for math what the word processor did for creating documents. The typical tool for obtaining answers to a mathematical problem has been the calculator. Unfortunately, a calculator can be very limiting. Most do not allow the user to record detailed notes regarding their work. Until the graphing calculator, the user could not graph their data either. Math Mechanixs has changed all that. Math Mechanixs includes the ability to graph data and functions, on your computer's display (in full color), and export the graph to other applications. It also includes a Math Editor that allows the user to keep detailed notes on their work. You can save your work and share it with anyone who uses Math Mechanixs. Math Mechanixs was created with the belief that computers were made to solve mathematical problems. Handheld calculators were a great tool but Math Mechanixs is a tool for the 21st century. Our goal is to make math software available to everyone. For more information visit us at the website listed below.
