Jordon Perlmutter and Company Makes Donation to Help Revitalize the Community He Built 48 Years Ago

Northglenn, CO (PRWEB) June 29, 2007 -- Jonathon Perlmutter of Jordon Perlmutter and Company contributed $10,000 to Northglenn Neighborhood Development Company (NNDC) on Friday to assist in revitalization efforts in Northglenn. The 10K gift is the largest contribution from the private sector to date. The contribution will be used to continue the mission of providing a stimulus to the reinvesting in properties in Northglenn.

Jordon Perlmutter, Owner of Perlmutter and Company, was a partner in the Perl-Mack Company, the original developer of Northglenn starting in 1959. The NNDC Board of Directors welcomes the contribution to the organization and hopes that other businesses will be inclined to add their contributions. "The Perlmutter contribution to NNDC indicates an awareness of the importance of the NNDC mission," said Bill Sullivan, Executive Director of NNDC.

The gift presentation was hosted at NNDC's first renovation project at 320 East 104th Place in Northglenn. The location holds an even greater significance, as it was the first home in the Perl-Mack development of Northglenn in 1959. The home is the first in three scheduled revitalizations currently in the works at NNDC.

From the initial showcase of the home, over fifteen residents have turned to NNDC to begin a home improvement project or to receive support in a project underway. Sullivan added, "Some Northglenn homeowners have seen the improvements made to the first house on the first lot and are contemplating making similar improvements."
