Balloonatiks.com Brings Kids Free Characters, Cartoons, Comics, Games & More at Multi-Media Website

Carpinteria, CA (PRWEB) July 26, 2007 -- Animagic Entertainment announced the premiere of Balloonatiks.com (http://www.Balloonatiks.com), a fun multi-media lifestyle website for kids and families, featuring free zany Balloonatiks characters, cartoons, comics, games and educational content.

Tony DiIoia, Chairman and CEO and creator of Balloonatiks, said, "Balloonatiks.com (http://www.Balloonatiks.com) characters will host kids on their journey to wholesome fun and educationally interesting experiences in a format using the latest in technology and multi-media Internet flexibility. When kids are online, we will have their Balloonatiks pals ready to offer them a great time."

Created for kids and families, Balloonatiks is a continuing saga about five kids and their pet frog who were accidentally 'gooped' in a science experiment and transformed into rubberized kids with super abilities and stretchy, bouncy qualities. The adventures of Flator, Squeeker, Bouncer, Airbrain, Sparky and Leaky will enthrall kids who relate to their zany antics.

DiIoia said, "Kids visiting Balloonatiks.com (http://Balloonatiks.com) can tour Hot Air City, interact with the Balloonatiks characters, visit Bouncer's Comic Shop to read comic strips, learn a fun joke of the day, read reviews about top quality kids books; play games in the Games Arcade, visit the Screening Room to watch animated clips and even enjoy the experience of editing cartoons. Children will also enjoy the learning experiences of experimenting in Professor Swellhead's Science Corner, reading Airbrain's Wacky Facts, visiting City Hall and enjoying two online newsletters: The Hot Air City Times and Global Gazette. Balloonatiks.com also includes a BalloonaBlog and the Balloonatiks store for kids and families."

Select Balloonatiks animated mini-clips, with computer generated imagery (CGI) and flash-action comic strips, are searchable at YouTube.com. Each character has a MySpace page, such as myspace.com/flatorballoon and myspace.com/bouncerballoon, among others.

John Hardman, Animagic's Creative Director and former head of Programming and Development at Kids' WB, said, "Balloonatiks.com offers kids the fun of participating in adventures with the Balloonatiks characters, each with a distinct personality, in a safe, entertaining setting."

In addition, Animagic will soon announce details about webcasts that are in production and slated to air on Hot Air City's "Channel B," featuring educational kid-oriented topics of interest including: Aviation, Sports, Animals, Environment, Food, Technology, Comics, Animation, Hot Air Balloons, Health, Money, Guinness Book facts and more.

Coming soon, "Balloonatiks Virtual World" is a massive multi-player online community geared to kids of all ages, especially in the 6 to 14 year-old age range. The virtual world will include a 3D Hot Air City where Balloonatiks characters (subscribers) can meet and chat with each other, celebrate occasions, earn "Balloonabucks," buy a blimp, hovercraft or hot air balloon to travel, build an environmentally sustainable house, challenge each other to a friendly battle, shop, dress up and play games. Also featured will be a monitored safe parent-approved chat system for kids.

DiIoia said, "The combination of high-quality entertainment, information, education, and interactivity makes Balloonatiks.com a one-of-a-kind Internet destination. Also, the tremendous success of kid-friendly virtual world sites, including clubpenguin.com and neopets.com, indicates that the potential for the Balloonatiks virtual world is wonderful, especially considering how kids of all ages love balloons."
