Compassionate Care ALS Breaks Fundraising Records at the 2007 Falmouth Road Race with Help from Blue Sky Collaborative

Falmouth, MA (PRWEB) October 16, 2007 -- Compassionate Care ALS was named highest fundraiser at this year's Falmouth Road Race, shattering their record from last year and beating out Dana-Farber Cancer Institute of Boston, Children's Hospital of Boston, American Heart Association, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Joslin Diabetes Center.

Blue Sky Collaborative is proud of the role it played in Compassionate Care ALS's fundraising success for the race:

"Hiring Blue Sky Collaborative was instrumental in our ability to greatly increase our fundraising capabilities. Our event income grew exponentially with the addition of our fundraising site. We found the staff at Blue Sky easy to work with and they consistently went above and beyond to satisfy our requests regarding the design and functionality of our site." said Ted Trevens, founder and senior consultant of Dynamic Solution Associates, which manages development for CCALS.

At last count, the funds raised by Compassionate Care ALS for the Falmouth Road Race exceeded $122,000, up dramatically from last year's record of $78,000. Eighty-two runners raised the record setting amount from over 900 donors adding substantially to the Compassionate Care ALS member database.

Compassionate Care ALS is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that offers individualized support to ALS patients, families, and caregivers. For more information on their organization, visit www.compassionatecareals.org

I paid off all of that debt by changing how I looked at debt, by making the hard choices, and by doing ?whatever it took? to get out of debt. I don?t work in the financial or lending field. The only reason I have put my thoughts into writing is to try to help other people. I am 46 years old. This is my story.
