Hyatt Rosemont Installs FlyteBoard Flight Information Display to Serve Traveling Guests
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) April 1, 2008 -- Flyte Systems (http://flytesystems.com/AboutFlyte.html?campaign=PRWebHyattRosemontApril12008), the leading provider of airport flight information (http://flytesystems.com/hospitality.html?campaign=PRWebHyattRosemontApril12008) displays and digital signage (http://flytesystems.com/digitalsignage.html?campaign=PRWebHyattRosemontApril12008) content for the hospitality, digital signage, convention centers and related businesses, announced it successfully installed its FlyteBoard real-time airline flight information display at the Hyatt Rosemont Hotel in Rosemont, Illinois.
"We installed FlyteBoard because it gives our guests greater confidence in their travel arrangements," said Christian Jacoby, Hyatt Rosemont's director of sales. "It is a valuable amenity that helps us gain more guest 'wallet share.' When guests check the lobby FlyteBoard and see their flight is delayed, they usually head to our outlets to relax in comfort until their new departure time." The Hyatt Rosemont FlyteBoard shows departure times for airlines at Chicago O'Hare International Airport and is wall-mounted adjacent to the front desk for guest convenience at checkout.
Real-time Flight Information FlyteBoard, developed by Flyte Systems, is a wall, floor or ceiling mounted high-definition, flat panel screen which properties install in public areas to provide guests with 'glance-and-go' convenience for more accurate travel planning. What sets Flyte Systems apart from other PC-based applications is the ability to post accurate, real-time airline flight arrival and departure information (http://flytesystems.com/FlyteBoard.html?campaign=PRWebHyattRosemontApril12008), not FAA-regulated scheduled departure times that do not list delays caused by: ? Air Traffic Control ? Aircraft maintenance ? Crew availability ? Weather
Flyte Systems offers a suite of products that serve the traveling public: FlyteTouch, FlytePass, FlyteChannel and FlyteBoard. ? FlyteTouch enables individual guests to search flight information via touch screens that display real-time flight arrivals and departures for one or more airports. ? FlytePass uses FlyteTouch technology and adds free, secure boarding pass printing, packaged in an all-wood kiosk. ? FlyteChannel permits guests to view live airport arrival/departure screens via their in-room TV. ? FlyteBoard is a wall, floor or ceiling mounted high-definition, flat panel screen for lobbies, restaurants, bars and other public areas, displaying flight information for one or more airports.
"Virtually all our guests fly in and out of O'Hare so it makes perfect sense to provide live airline information services," said Jacoby. "Flyte Systems' airline information comes to the property over our existing high-speed Internet connection and the company's installation and support are excellent. It is a good investment." FlyteSystems products are configurable to display information from one or multiple airports.
