This shows the women that you have something going on for yourself and this will not only make you more interesting, but will make for a better date. Dressing up nicely doesn't take a genius to do either... Just make sure you're groomed properly through good hygiene (well-shaved, white teeth, used fresh mouthwash, ridding of unwanted hairs, etc.) and have nice, trendy clothes (matching shoes with jeans, fashionable t-shirt/polo, simple silver necklace, etc.) Never overdo it by going all gaudy-like! If you have a friendly, casual presence then she'll be very likely to respond to your question. From there, you should have no problem creating a short conversation about favorite and horrible movies. Once you've done this, tell her you'd like to meet her again, ask for her phone number, and leave.
