Hide-Away Mobile Storage Profiled for Help with the American Red Cross

SARASOTA, FL (PRWeb) November 28, 2006 -- Hide-Away Storage Services was highlighted on the evening news segment April 27, 2006, on Wink News in Ft. Myers, FL concerning hurricane preparedness. Due to the number of hurricanes in 2004 and 2005, local emergency services were trying to find new ways to provide timely and efficient delivery of emergency supplies. In response, Hide-Away Storage Services entered a partnership with The American Red Cross in Lee County to store emergency supplies in its portable storage containers and then to deliver the emergency supplies to affected areas in times of emergency.

Hide-Away Storage's emergency service was activated during the summer of 2006 for wild fires, rather than hurricanes in the Lehigh Acres vicinity east of Ft. Myers. Hide-Away responded to the emergency call and within two hours delivered local shelters with food, water, and bedding stored in the portable storage containers.
