Northwest Florida Entrepreneur To Help Dreamers and Innovators

Fort Walton Beach, FL (PRWEB) May 16, 2005 -- Susan Kay Thompson has launched Emerald Coast Entrepreneur (ECE) to help people start new businesses and new lifestyles of their own. Located in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and serving Northwest Florida (including Pensacola, Navarre, Destin, Walton County, Panama City, and Apalachicola), ECE is dedicated to bringing clients the latest techniques for starting a traditional business or e-business; launching and promoting a web site; or growing an existing company through the fusion of traditional and internet marketing activities.

ECE Consulting Services include: Envisioning Sessions (designed to clarify, focus and add meat to a business idea); Business Plan Writing; Web Site Development; Internet Marketing (including SEO - Search Engine Optimization); Web Copywriting and Content Development (like news feeds and web PR); and Alliance Building Techniques (such as online affiliate programs). ECE can create and manage all start up activities and resources for a client, or just the pieces that they may not have the time, resources or background to handle.

Whats really powerful is the integration of new web tools and techniques, such as RSS feeds, with traditional marketing, says Thompson. The web can accomplish things traditional media cannot, and vice versa. Combining and leveraging your methods is key for any type of new business or emerging business. I love to help people see new business development possibilities, and then take action strategically and creatively.

The ECE website www.e-starts.com launched on May 1, 2005, includes fresh content to educate business people about the new opportunities and techniques available to successfully launch a business, or a website. The site features a calendar of local networking and entrepreneurial events along the Panhandle, which ECE plans to make accessible via mobile devices (such as cell phones and PDAs) later this year. Dreams and Innovations, ECEs new monthly E-zine, will also showcase Profiles of local entrepreneurs and their success tips. (Local business owners can submit a request for their firm to be highlighted in an upcoming Business Profile on the ECE site.)

Since moving to Florida in 2002, Ms. Thompson served as the Fundraiser for the Air Force Armament Museum at Eglin Air Force Base, and most recently as an Account Executive for R.H. Shes worked in Business Development for companies like TRW, Ernst & Young, and MidAmerican Energy, as well as helped launch and grow dozens of software, tech, financial services, and retail start up companies and web sites.
