CPW Rehab Offers Chances to Win Free "BACKSCHOOL" Class or Month of Free Exercise Classes

Toledo, OH (PRWEB) March 18, 2005 -- CPW Rehab (also known as Central Park West Rehabilitation Center) will hold two raffles during the upcoming Sylvania Business Expo on Saturday. One raffle will be for business owners and one for the general public. Area business owners are invited to visit the CPW Rehab table and drop off a business card for a chance at receiving a free BACKSCHOOL class.

Back pain is second only to the common cold as the greatest cause of lost workdays and costs American industry $10-14 billion in workers compensation costs and about 100-million lost workdays annually. 80% of the population in the United States has reported having back pain during their lifetime. CPW Rehabs BACKSCHOOL is a two-hour program of practical education for back care and back injury prevention.

CPW Rehab is also raffling off a chance to win one month of free exercise classes. Many people find that keeping up with an exercise program at home is difficult and taking an exercise class provides extra encouragement and support. For that reason, CPW Rehabs Medical Fitness Programs offer a range of wellness and medically supervised exercise classes including low-impact strength training, arthritis aquatics, sports conditioning, massage therapy and Tai Chi from the Arthritis Foundation.

Our Medical Fitness programs are really good for anyone who is interested in jump-starting an exercise program, said Cindy Binkley, RKT and administrator of the facility. The classes are especially effective for those who have just completed a course of therapy, or have a medical condition that makes exercising more challenging, she added.

CPW Rehabs Medical Fitness programs are supervised by trained kinesiotherapists with the assistance of a rehab aide. Unlike area fitness centers, participants are not required to sign a yearlong contract but can take part in classes on a month-to-month basis.

The drawings will take place at the end of the Business Expo and winners will be notified by telephone on Monday, March 21st. For more information contact CPW Rehabs Outreach Coordinator, Edie Pilewski, at 419.841.9622 or visit the CPW Rehab table at the Sylvania Business Expo.
